



Mr Singh met the dynamic Rohana Dissanayake, Minister of State for Sports and Youth Affairs of Sri Lanka. He presented him with a Tulsi and Rudraksh Mala along with a copy of the Geeta and what followed was an intense spiritual discussion.




It was a matter of great pride for us when our Chairperson addressed the Sri Lankan media and apprised them about the Heartfulness ride being organised by SDS with the collaboration of the governments of India, Sri Lanka and Nepal. Mr Singh spoke at length about the ancient spiritual connections of Sri Lanka and India.




It was a moment of great privilege and pride for all of us at SDS when Mr Singh was honored with Commendation and Citation from the Indian Navy Vice Admiral Chief of Naval Staff (VCNS) S. N. Ghormade in the field of Public Services.




Mr Singh was invited as one of the Chief Guests at the Inauguration of Induction programme (transitional curriculum), Shishopanayniya Sanskar, white coat ceremony with Charak oath programme for First year BAMS newly admitted students of Baba Kheta Nath Govt. Ayurveda college & Hospital, Narnaul, Haryana, alongside the auspicious company of the Honourable Minister for Social Justice, Govt of Haryana Sh. Omprakash Yadav ji, Religious Peace Secretary of NGOs of United Nations H.H. Dileepkumar Thankappan from New York. Social worker Sh. Rahul Patil ji from Delhi, All India ex servicemen Association President Sh. Ch. Dharampal ji, The MS of the Hospital Shri Shriniwas Gujjarwar ji and Dr. Ajit Singh ji, DAO, Ayush Department as a Guest of Honour. He urged the students to not only be agents of holistic health and wellness but also soldiers of the great Sanatani culture.



Mr Singh and the SDS team met and discussed work we have done and what we are going to do in the coming year with United Religions Initiative Executive Director Mr Jerry White & Global Programs Director Ms Alice Swett. The formal meeting was followed by a long hearty discussion on Religion and politics and a wide variety of different topics.
