On 3rd March 2018, Mr Manu Singh spent a splendid evening with Belgian author and Ideologist Koenraad Elst, they had a discussion on a diverse range of topics(meditation), from the impact of the political shift in India and its effects on International Politics to the Neo Spiritual trend that is emerging across the state and beyond.
On 28th March 2018, Mr Manu Singh was invited to conduct a Yagya and explain its meaning. He began by explaining the meaning of Yagya and demonstrated it to a group of people through the tenets of Swami Dayananda Saraswati. He also explained the meaning of ‘Beej Mantra’ and the precepts of a Vedic Yagya, elaborating on every mantra in detail and the importance it holds for the chanter and the listeners.
On 18th May 2019, Shri Manu Singh was felicitated by Sadhvi Tapeshwari Bharti at Divya Jyoti Jagriti Sansthan for successfully completing several meditative training programs for various contestants at different camps of Divya Jyoti Jagriti Sansthan. He has been conducting training programs for the Sansthan for the last couple of years.
On 28th May 2019, Mr Manu Singh was invited to conduct a workshop at Vedas International School, Gurgaon, on Science and Spirituality. The students were intrigued to learn about the interweaving patterns of science and spirituality. Mr Manu Singh talked at length about concentration and the methods to improve it and practice it in one’s daily life. Some of the students raised the most naive and curious questions. Their curiosity was refreshing for us, and it turned out to be a fun session.
On 31st May 2020,When the world was going through Covid 19 pandemic, we were all enveloped in despair and uncertainty about what the future holds for us. It was during these times that we at Varenyam made sure to help and uplift people through the darker phases of life. Mr Singh took sessions with various schools from Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata. Not only the students but also parents and teachers participated with excitement and zeal for learning.
It was heartbreaking to hear the stories of the loss of some of our participants, children were the most affected. Some were very young to even understand the idea of death and comprehend it. We at Varenyam felt it was our responsibility to extend a helping hand and help the ones who needed us the most. The session was attended by more than 500 participants, mostly students, and it was enthralling. They were keen to learn and had a wide array of questions.
Mr Manu Singh focused on the different methods to improve concentration and breath work that helps calm our nerves in difficult times.
In the simplest way and through multiple examples, he explained the ways in which our brain and mind work, the role of the amygdala, the brain waves and the placebo effect. Children were amazed to learn about the functioning of their minds. Their curiosity was admirable, and we kept receiving a number of emails full of questions from the children even days after the session.
The session was held in partnership with Delhi Public School, and the feedback from the principals, teachers, and parents was overwhelming.
On 26th September 2020, Mr Manu Singh, Chief Mentor of Varenyum, gave a two-day teaching meditation session to our police personnel in the South Delhi region. In the presence of Hon. DCP Harendra Singh.
On 26th May 2021, Mr. Singh conducted a session on "How to combat Covid 19 through meditation and mindfulness." For the faculty of Atma Ram Sanatan Dharam College.
